Artistic Internship

The Orlando Chorale appoints one Artistic Intern each season to work with The Chorale and The Chamber Singers.

Intern Requirements:
--Complete at least a bachelor's degree in music no more than 5 years before making the intern application.
--Show successful study in conducting and literature.
--Piano skills are encouraged but not required.
--Vocal skills appropriate for membership in The Chorale are required.
--Internships are for 2 performance seasons.

Intern Opportunities:
--Interns spend considerable time rehearsing The Chorale and The Chamber Singers.
--Interns conduct on many of the season concerts.
--Conducting, literature, score study and rehearsal technique study with Gregory Ruffer and other TOC staff.
--Hear TOC auditions in conjunction with artistic staff.
--Opportunities to learn about the administrative aspects of running a community non-profit organization.
