The Orlando Chorale has supported emerging singers (Young Artists Choral Scholarship) and conductors (Artistic Internship) since its founding. This Emerging Composers Initiative is our way of helping unpublished composers find performance opportunities for their work.

Composers who are interested in this program must meet the following critieria:
-May not have a commerically published musical work.
-Must submit a work that has not been performed publicly.
-Be willing to work with the TOC staff on potential changes that make for the highest quality performance.

The Orlando Chorale has premiered new works by these emerging composers:
Nathaniel Barnes (2008: Requiem)
Mario Davis (2007: Ave Maria / 2007: Israfel)
Rand Snell (2006: Sing A New Song)
Ben Cavanaugh (2005: Natural)
