choral, chamber, musical theater, and church settings, including
performances with the Eastern Shore Choral Society (Fairhope,
Alabama), the Garden Community Choir (Winter Garden), the
Mobile Piano Ensemble, the Young Actor's Theater (Tallahassee,
Florida), choirs and soloists at Florida State University
and Louisiana State University, and various high school choral
programs and competitions.
Ledean
holds a Bachelors degree in Music Education from Florida State
University, and a Masters degree in Piano Pedagogy from Louisiana
State University. After graduate school, she was the Director
of the Music Academy for precollege music study, and also
the Academic Advisor for undergraduate music students at LSU.
While living in Alabama and Georgia with her husband, she
taught private and group piano lessons to children and adults
of all ages. She was an active member of the Alabama chapter
of the Music Teachers National Association, and has given
presentations at local, state and national conventions for
MTNA.
